A: The theme is “Embracing the Oneness in Humanity”, reflecting Dr. King’s vision of unity, equality, and love across all communities.
Q: When and where will the parade take place?
A: The parade will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Downtown Houston. The official route map will be announced soon.

A: Parade applications open in Summer 2025. You can pre-register your interest at mlkgrandeparade.org
Q: Are there fees to participate?
A: Entry fees vary by category (e.g., marching bands, nonprofit groups, commercial floats). A full fee schedule will be available during registration.
Q: Can I volunteer to help with the event?

ATTENDANCE & ACCESS
Q: Is the event free and open to the public?
A: Absolutely. The parade is a free public celebration open to all ages.

A: Yes. Designated ADA viewing areas and accessible entry points will be clearly marked.

A: The parade will begin at 10:00 AM. We recommend arriving early for best viewing areas.
