Houston TX – Midtown Community Festival And Events Proudly Announces The 21st Annual MLK Grande Parade On January 19, 2015.

 

The Parade Will Originate In Houston’s Midtown On San Jacinto Street & Elgin Street Beginning @ 10A (CST) And Will Feature More Than 200 Culturally Diverse Performing Groups From Across The Nation Including 20 Award Winning Marching Bands.

 

The MLK Grande Parade Will Be Co-Lead By The PVAMU “Marching Storm” Marching Band, The University Of Houston “The Spirit Of Houston” Marching Band, The Central Medical Magnet High School Marching Band-Beaumont, TX, And The Willowridge High School “Mighty Eagles” Marching Band-Houston, TX.

 

The Co-Grand Marshals for The MLK Grande Parade Are The Honorable Adrian Garcia, Sheriff Of Harris County, TX And The Honorable Ken Jones, Constable Of Haiis County PCT 3 In Our Organization’s Salute To Law Enforcement.

 

The MLK Grande Parade Will Have A 2 Hour Duration Along A 2.5 Mile Parade Route, And Will Be A Fun Filled Family Experience.
