On Monday, January 16, 2012, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Annual MLK Grande Parade. The parade, that is now in its eighteen year, originated in Mid-Town. On January 18th, 2010, to memorialise civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the MLK Parade Foundation of Houston organised a grand parade in downtown Houston.
