2009 Miss US Teen America

Teen US America 2009 Samantha Gardner is a high school freshman who has a passion for helping seriously ill children by granting wishes. Her platform – “The Power of Dreams” allows Samantha to be a spokeswoman for the Make A Wish Foundation. Samantha has been doing community service for the past five years. It is her wish to give these seriously ill children a chance to forget their illnesses and have a normal childhood…even if only for a short time.

In addition to her community service work, Samantha is an accomplished harpist. She plays high school basketball and tennis and is part of her high school debate team.
