Diane Yoo With years of experience in local and international pageantry, professional and runway modeling, and community leadership, Diane maintains a premier edge in the beauty and pageant industry. She entered the beauty industry over fifteen years ago and was educated at the Mayo Hill School of Modeling. She managed a diverse portfolio in her modeling career including runway, print, and international modeling. Diane also worked as spokesperson for national boutiques, was involved with numerous charity organizations, and became the face of an international multimedia company that sold products throughout Asia. Currently, she is working on an upcoming movie production and has future aspirations to be in the entertainment industry.

For her recent achievement as the Miss Asia USA titleholder, Diane has been recognized by United States Congress in an official proclamation for July 31st, 2008, as "Diane Yoo Day". Mayors from California to Texas have recognized Diane for her achievements to empower and represent Asian Americans internationally, additionally the City of Houston officially presented a proclamation for August 26th, 2008, as the official "Diane Yoo Day". Ms. Yoo has received numerous awards from prominent leaders in the community from County Judge to City Council Members and others in leadership positions for her achievements as the esteemed USA titleholder and Queen of all Asian communities. Upon graduation at Baylor University, she pursued her interests for diverse cultures and worked in conjunction with local non-profits, charitable organizations, and an inner city school to continue building Asian-American leaders and set an example of Asian-American empowerment. She stays dynamically involved in the Texas community and is the current representative for the Asian American Giving Circle, a founding member of Korean Young Professionals, and a Board Member of Korean Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Diane has coached and mentored several prominent women in the beauty industry and has a proven track record of international leaders.

Diane has always been an advocate for creating strong Asian-American representation locally and making an impact for her generation. She has specifically created projects and opportunities to work with other minority communities in efforts to create cross-cultural unity and will continue to do so with her relocation to Los Angeles. As Miss Asia USA 2008 and a powerful representative of Asian Americans, Diane will continue to broker alliances of peace on a global scale between international countries.
